What is Spiritual Bypassing

There is so much toxicity in this patriarchal concept that you ALWAYS have to keep your vibration “in alignment.”

Wow… like what a way to set yourself up to fail, AND feed fuel to the idea that you are “not good enough” or “failing.”

Spiritual Bypassing

Alignment isn’t a destination.

It’s a direction.

It’s like your compass showing you which way is north.

The compass isn’t north, it’s just letting you know what direction it is.

This is how alignment works.

When we feel:

  • Good

  • Happy

  • Hopeful

  • Grateful

  • Content

  • Trusting

This shows us that we ARE in alignment.

When we feel:

  • Depressed

  • Unmotivated

  • Sad

  • Anxious

  • Envious

  • Angry

This shows us that we are NOT in alignment.

The place where so many trip up is thinking they just have to change how they feel and suddenly they will “realign” when in truth the feeling is just a symptom.

It’s feedback.

It’s feedback showing us that we are holding resistance in our bodies. This resistance is what is resulting in the symptoms of disalignment.

The key is to understand why the symptoms exist so the cause can be healed and transmuted.

Trying to ignore the feeling and just pivoting out of it doesn’t work.

It’s like trying to walk on a broken leg the way we want to when it’s healed.

This does more damage than good and puts us behind in our healing process.

The “pain” is the symptom so we seek to understand the underlying cause. What is “broken?”

Once we know the source and can work to heal it and reprogram it, “pivoting” becomes so much easier.

Stop trying to ignore your pain and thinking you suck because you can’t.

Ask it where it came from and give it the love it needs.
