Aligning Your Business with Your Cycle

In the world of business, especially for women, understanding and aligning with your natural cycles can be a game-changer. Unlike men, who operate on a 24-hour hormonal cycle, women operate on a 28- to 29-day cycle, mirroring the phases of the moon. This cycle influences our energy, mood, and productivity levels, and recognizing these shifts can empower us to optimize our business activities for better results.

Start by tracking your menstrual cycle, noting how you feel during each phase. For those who no longer menstruate, align with the lunar cycle instead. The cycle begins with menstruation, or your 'winter' phase, where energy is lower and introspection is key. This is a time for rest and reflection, to nurture your body and spirit. In business, this might mean focusing on planning rather than launching new projects.

As you move into the follicular phase, or 'spring,' energy levels begin to rise. This is a time for creativity and growth, perfect for brainstorming new ideas and setting intentions. Use this time to evaluate your business performance and plan future actions. Ovulation marks the 'summer' of your cycle, where energy peaks. This is the best time for high-energy tasks like launching new projects, networking, and making bold moves in your business.

Finally, the luteal phase, or 'autumn,' is a time to wrap up projects and prepare for the upcoming rest phase. Energy begins to wane, and it’s important to honor this slowdown. By aligning your business activities with your cycle, you not only optimize productivity but also ensure you’re working in harmony with your body’s natural rhythms. This alignment fosters a more sustainable, joyful, and intuitive approach to business.
